Tulsi, Giloy, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, clove, lemon, ashwagandha, cardamom and cinnamon can be used to make the decoction. According to the official guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry in consultation with eminent physicians across the country, a decoction made of basil, cinnamon, black pepper, shunthi (dry ginger) and dry grapes (raisins) should be consumed only once or twice a day. Jaggery can be added instead of sugar for taste. Taking a spoonful of Chyawanprash once a day will also prove beneficial to increase immunity against the corona virus.
